Surprise London Trip - January 2001

We started Friday morning catching Big Ben just as it struck 11.

We went inside Westminster Abbey.  It is over 900 years old.  Many famous people and royalty are buried there, including Queen Elizabeth.

And speaking of abbeys... Here we are at Abbey Road !!   Måns and I walked back and forth along the road trying to get a good shot of the famous beatles crossing.

Here is my wonderful Måns at the fountain in front of Buckingham Palace.  Måns can hold an angel in his hand because he is the sweetest and most loving husband in the world !!!

On Saturday night, Måns took me to see Phantom of the Opera.  It was the best part of the trip ! We are all dressed up and ready to go to the show. Måns stands in Trafalgar quare which is down the road from the theatre.
